In addition, midfielder Victor Wanyama and goaltender Michael Worm are questionable.
Bournemouth – A Closer Look:
Bournemouth has slipped down to 15th place in the 20-team league after last weekend’s loss even though they’ve lost just one of their past six contests. They have just 35 points out of a possible 96 after 33 games. They have nine wins, eight draws and 15 defeats with 45 goals scored and 59 allowed. The team is too far back in the standings to battle for a spot in Europe and is just seven points in front of 18th-place Swansea City and the relegation zone.

They’ve won just two of their past 10 league contests though along with three draws and five defeats with 13 goals scored in those games and 20 against. Manager Eddie Howe has some injury concerns as goaltender Adam Federici, defender Rhoys Wiggins and forward Callum Wilson will be missing for the remainder of the campaign and midfielder Andrew Surman is still sidelined.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Bournemouth – Takeaway:
- Tottenham has no choice but to take all three points here to stay within reasonable striking reach of Chelsea.
