There’s another all-Premier League fifth-round English FA Cup showdown this weekend as Bournemouth will be hosting Everton down on the south coast at Dean Court on Saturday, February 20. Everton may finish high enough to earn a spot in next season’s Europa League while newly-promoted Bournemouth will want to make sure they’re not relegated back into the second-tier Championship League at the end of the current campaign.

Bournemouth sits in 15th place in the 20-team league with 28 points from seven victories, seven draws and 12 defeats. They’ve scored 30 times and allowed 44 goals against and sit just four points ahead of 18th-place Newcastle United and the relegation zone. Bournemouth has won four, drawn three and lost four in their past 12 fixtures and have been shutout just once in their past 12 outings in all competitions. However, they’ve recorded just one clean sheet in those games as well. Bournemouth has played 13 home matches in 2015/15 and has only three wins. They’ve also dropped three of their past four home encounters with one victory in their past five attempts in their home stadium.
Everton was enjoying a three-game winning streak in all competitions until losing at home on Merseyside against West Brom last week. They have three wins, two draws and three defeats in their past eight matches in all competitions. All three of their victories were by a score of 3-0. Everton has also been a fine road team this campaign with just a lone loss on their past 10 trips away from Liverpool. Everton will be missing a few players due to injury on Saturday as Tony Hibbert and Tyias Browning are out of action along with Muhamed Besic. However, there’s a slight chance that Oumar Niasse and John Stones could return to the squad. Bournemouth will be without the injured Callum Wilson, Tyrone Mings and Max Gradel.
